Our jewelry designs mainly use ahigh grade carbon neutral stainless steel as a base and is coated in recycled gold. Stainless steel is a sustainable metal that is bothhypoallergenic and resistant to rust, oxidation, and discolorationbut it’seco-friendlinessis what keeps our hearts proud. There are various levels of stainless steel quality which is why we have selected thehighest grade of metals commonly used in marine outfitting. Our Surf Jewels collection consists of both gold-filled and carbon neutral metals with fine recycled gold in 14k, 18k, and 24k depending upon the shades of sunny gold we deem fit for the style and our ever-changing moods. ✌🏻✨
We use a proprietary blend of techniques to ensure that our plating process is best in class. It may take a little longer of a process for us as twice is never enough but we believe strongly in what we do. This has resulted in our Surf Jewels collection being 8 times more durable than traditional gold-plated jewelry.Our protective layering is kept in tact with simple care after exposure to ocean and pool water. We always recommend a freshwater dip and a quick pat dry for your pieces after exposure to any harsh chemicals— including ones from your hair and makeup regimes!
